February 2008 : Cari will star in the indie film HEAR ME by up and coming scribe Sherry McGuinn. HEAR ME is about a woman who confronts some of life's most challenging moments over the course of a single day, leading to a confrontation that's as irrevocable, as it is unforgettable. The story is based on actual events. Cari is also attached to a film entitled FEED THE KITTY that is set to begin production in early 2008.

Cari recently did an episode of COLD CASE where she plays Dottie Mills, a 1950's house wife who can't come to terms with her ex-husband's involvement with their daughter.
Plot: The Cold Case team re-opens the 1958 case of a local celebrity, a radio DJ nicknamed "The Hawk", when they discover his death was staged to look like a suicide.

Cari has formed La Unica Pictures and is actively seeking strong, women driven, and Latin themed scripts to produce. The company's first project "THE FIELD GOAL " is currently in developement for Lifetime Television.

Shayne was recently interviewed for an upcoming book by Eila Mel about casting and auditioning for television roles, to be published early next year.
